Hey guys, I thought I would let you all in on a business venture I have decided to embark on. The first reason I have decided to do this is because, basically I love fashion and for the past six months or so I have been going through some sort of intense spiritual awakening, It has made me become more conscious about the way I shop (eat, think, conduct myself, everything… But that’s a whole other blog post!) What is so lovely about the items I am importing is that the artisans all over the world are directly benefitting from the profits and there is no use of sweat shops or child/slave labour involved, which unfortunately is how most mass produced clothing is made. Secondly I have always absolutely love love loved bohemian laid back style and I like having one off pieces and styling them up with tons of jewellery and as I was shopping around for my summer wardrobe I was realising the lack of vibrant, unique items around (I still love the high street, but sometimes you just want something nobody else has!) All of the pieces I have are ethically made, using vintage fabrics and a lot of the jewellery are antique items, no two will ever be the same. I will also be selling lots of Mala beads, Crystal jewellery and lots of other meaningful items. My beautiful sister in law has modelled for me some of the cool harem trousers I am selling, I think I have turned her into a complete hippie and I have to say she suits it so much. If you would like more info you can email me on email@example.com Or you can follow me on Instagram @girlofthesun Hopefully this is the start of something wonderful and I would just like to express some gratitude for the positive response I’ve had so far. Here is just a little taster of what’s to come. Hope you all have an amazing weekend. Love & Light!
So I’m feeling rather neglectful as I haven’t done a blog for a while, Life has been pretty busy and hectic lately, I’m making a rule to myself to find the time to do, at least, two or three a week. Yesterday I spent the day with my hubby as my coconuts were with my parents and the hub had been working in Madrid for the week, So we had some nice quality time over a spot of lunch. Now I’m not one to let the weather effect my mood, but this is starting to feel like some sort of sick joke! Is a little sunshine to much to ask? Thank God we have our summer holidays booked or else I would be on the brink of emigrating for good. Anyway I decided not to let the doom, gloom and rain dampen my spirits and brightened up the day with this lovely neon boucle jacket from Zara, teamed with some super flared jeans, wedges and a floppy hat. I was seriously channeling my inner seventies hippie self. Normally I’m not really a fan of lime green, but I think when put together with the right outfit and everything else is toned down it can look really effective and I absolutely adore flared jeans, they remind me of old pictures of my mum and dad looking super cool in their bell bottoms and platform shoes. Wedges are a must with this kind of outfit, every girl should own at least one pair of neutral sky scrapers, I love this pair from Bershka as they are really light and comfortable plus the brown just goes with everything. My download tip of today is Jessie Ware ‘Imagine it was us’ brilliant song, it has that chilled out house music vibe about it. Hope you all enjoy your Sunday and I promise not to leave it so long until the next post again. Peace 🙂
